Celebrating the Holiday Season Together

The holiday season is a time of connection, gratitude, and community, and at Vibrant, it was no different. This year, we came together through several heartwarming initiatives that highlighted the generosity and spirit of our clients and staff.

Here are some snapshots from the Vibrant Community Council party and the holiday meal pick-up, capturing the warm atmosphere, smiles, and holiday cheer. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Vibrant Community Council Holiday Party

Our Vibrant Community Council celebrated with a lively holiday party featuring Swiss Chalet’s delicious meals. Members had a wonderful time clicking pictures with the festive holiday decorations, and the participation of our leadership team added a special touch, making the event even more engaging and memorable.

Holiday Meal Pick-Up

To ensure everyone could enjoy a festive meal, we organised a special holiday meal pick-up, distributing 191 meals to our clients and community members. The event was seamlessly managed with careful coordination to accommodate everyone who registered. It was heartwarming to see the smiles as clients picked up their meals.

Knitting Group Donations

The kindness and dedication of our knitting group shone brightly this holiday season. Meeting twice a month, the group knits, crochets, chats, and laughs together. When not meeting in person, members take yarn and needles home to continue their work. In December 2023, the group donated their handmade knitting and crocheting accessories to Interval House, a women’s shelter. This year, in December 2024, they donated a large bag of accessories—including scarves, hats, mittens, socks, and sweaters—to another women’s shelter, Street Haven, as well as to homeless individuals. These thoughtful contributions reflect their unwavering commitment to spreading warmth and care in our community.

Holiday Movie Screening

As part of our holiday initiatives, We organised a holiday movie event for clients. The event provided an opportunity for participants to come together and enjoy a holiday-themed movie named “Hot Frosty”. The movie was chosen to suit the interests of the group, and the event allowed for an enjoyable gathering for those who attended.
